Panoramic - Images

Hey guy's hope u all doing well ...

Sorry for not blogging at all the last view days...

I Was busy on some other shootings ...

Well for today I have some PANORAMIC Images..

It is actually a very easy Image to make...

First you need a nice location or Idea of what u want to take.

Then you will need to have a tripod with a spirit level.

Mount your camera to the Tripod and start shooting from

the right hand side to the left hand side and have a look at your spirit level

that it always stays in level with your Frame.

If you don't have a tripod.... don't freak out....

you could also do it without a tripod but...

when you get to the Photoshop Part, and you have to merge them

you will have some Trouble fitting them together...

How to Merge them in Photoshop will be posted soon...

Philippa Müller

Junior upcoming Artist and Model

Philippa has her Natives in Namibia and was born on a Farm,

north-western of Namibia. She never shared similar interest

like normal farm children, in getting her little dresses as filthy as

possible by playing in the bush. She rather attended Ballet

classes at the age of 5 years and moved on towards playing

inline and ice hockey at a later stage of her life.

Other side line activities where playing piano, violin

and recorder but never continued her interest up to today.

She spent quite some time in a Hostel in

Otjiwarongo, Namibia and completed her

high school career in Cape Town, South Africa.

“I have always been very fond of the

camera…” Philippa states, “…being either

in front or behind the actual taking of the footage.”

Philippa has had her first encounter in the modelling industry

at the age of seventeen, with the Social-Content Platform-

Namlish.com. Philippa travelled France where she had

a basic insight into the French language and the

vast French culture. Nonetheless, she is still completing

her Batchelor of Arts Motion Picture Degree,

in the fields of Cinematography.

As a junior upcoming model she partook in the

Ms Longbeach pageant and won herself the 2006 head-title.

Further opportunities arose from thereon, as she

received the chance to participate in the

FHM Models competition 2010 where she

sailed right through to the Top Ten.

“It is a great honour for me to have accomplished

this step in life as well as to work with the FHM Crew.”

This has definitely opened some doors for Philippa

and further Interests can be gathered at the

The personality traits of Philippa can be considered

as a ‘fascinated and honest’ personality. Her active

since it isn’t usual to see such likings in Junior upcoming

Models. Philippa’s last statement made us dazzle

with amazement “I am interested in many forms of creativity.

Without sport, I start fading. True happiness and

harmony is the most important thing to me.”

… what true statements they indeed are! We wish

Philippa all the best for her upcoming career

opportunities and great successes along the way.

Photoshopping - Part 1 " TIP OF THE MONTH "

Hey Everyone, This Image is just a

big Photoshop Experiment... I Wanted to show u guys

That there is a possibility of photoshopping in other objects !!

Like for Example I tryd to take a Image of someone

being angry and trying to break his keyboard.

But I didn't< /span> want to break my own , So I took some

snap shot's of my Keyboard and other

parts and Photoshopt it in..

HDR - Images

Hey Guys a While ago

I went out to take some HDR - Image's

Maybe some of you are familiar with it ....

if not ... Don't worry .. read on

It is a photo with 3 or 5 Different exposure's that you

have to take with a Tripod and when you done ..

open in Photoshop and join these images Together...

and do some Post-Production to get a that grunge look.

Now to the Photoshop part ...

Open Photoshop go to File > Automate >

Photomerge > Import Images > select a layout (Auto)

> tick of the box at the bottom witch says

( Blend Images Together ) > OK .

Photoshop has now combined the Images

and you can start doing some Post - production on it .

Adjustments and use some Filter ..

URs Productions, a small 3D animation and Visual Effects company

based in Germany´s media city Cologne, was set up by Arvid Schneider

in 2008. Since then URs Productions produced and directed

several music videos, product presentations and short films.

Arvid Schneider entered the 3D animation and Visual Effects

field in 2003 and worked mostly as a freelancer on low- and no-budget

productions. He met an African musician called

EES for whom Arvid directed and produced

two music videos, 123 ees-y and What Dey Fighting For?.

The short film called

A different point of view

was Arvid´s first animated short film, which he produced for his final

examination for his Film&Animation diploma. Arvid started to work for a

production company called Cape Cross GmbH as a visual effects

assistant in 2007. After a year he realized he had to start something on his

own, and in winter 2008 URs Productions was founded.

URs Productions is currently working on several projects, “Vault”, “

Unnatural” and a product presentation for which his skills are needed.

THE HELICOPTER PILOT

THE HELICOPTER PILOT

Model ( Stefan Mechaelis ) asked me to take

some shots of him while he was flying his choppa,

so he could use those images for his CV and I got a free

Helicopter Ride ... Sometimes I think you have a great live

as a photographer you get to meet new people all the

time and sometimes you even get lucky and score a flight.

HEHE... I tryed to make a Panoramic pic out of the choppa

While we where flying and yes I think it looks ok !

After we landed somewhere in a lost area I took a shoot

of stefan flying past me and right after that he just

landed right an front of me " Where I thought SH.@!!

he is so close he is going to chop of my head ...

But lucky I just drop onto the ground

and took some nice shoots there " !!!

Weel but Overall Big Thanks

again Stefan for that Flight I did realy Enjoy Flying With u !!!

This Theme is not so Typical my Style but

I enjoyed working on a Project like this and I think as a

good Photographer you should have the skill to do anything.

I Photographed the forest in early morning while the fog was still

hang in it .. and placed the model in with photoshop.

On This Image we used

One Flash Light straight at the subject and a good work

in Photoshop added some Textures and red eye Effect .

Model [ Mona Tingaete ]

Glenfiddich Whiskey

Glenfiddich Whiskey - So strong it will break your Glass .

I used a big Black sheet With a kind of Triangle cut out

to get the light in this shape .. used a normal whiskey glass

and made it look Broken in Photoshop..

Hehe yes I did think of braking the glass

and then shoot it ,but how will do

something like that braking a expensive whiskey glass..

is not worth it.. so Once again Photoshop played a big roll.

Playstation - Boys

Crazy Playstation Players it is all about Wining The Football

Game..If you think you are wining, you are lossing it stay

focused and play ..Hate The player not the game .

I used a good setup with some strip lights on the left and right

side and some front lighting to lighten up there faces a

bit we used a green geel on the light to creat a

greenish effect That Normaly comes from the

tv screen ...

Fresh - Beer - Camelthorn Brewing

One of the Finest Namibian beers Brewed with a passion.

CAMELTHORN BREWING... I was asked to do some Nice

product shots of the Camelthorn Beer FRESH .. again i used my

Black sheet with the triangle and some Orange light brushes in

Photoshop to create that flyby look . The Bottle reflections

came with a glossy bottom.

Stefan Sander ( Model ) The FOOTBALL player Theme was The Power of Light ..May the light shine on all South African supporters and players during Fifa 2010. We had a good shooting section in studio and combined it with a outdoor shoot of the Green Point stadium at night again I used a 50mm/lens at f9 an some lights/..A good section in PP - Post Production and was a fun shoot again ... Thanks to my crew and Model Stefan ..

Anti - Drug - Campine -STOP - DRUGS

The Cocaine Dealer on his new mission to bring his cocaine

into our homes ! This Images was also photographed for

the ANTI-DRUG-BOOK to let addictive People see what controlled there lives.. and get a message to wake up and relays that it is not worth it to take these drugs.. Again I used a 2-Light setup and a big reflector to bring some front lighting onto the model and worked a lot in photoshop to give it a grunge effect and make the models skin look very bad.. because that is what cocaine does !!!!!

The Magic Book

Once you opened the magic book there is no stopping

anymore !! It will suck you in ,and lets you forget everything

around you ! I had this crazy idea one night to just shot

someone with a glowing book in his hand and walking

in a doggie street ! I used a 2-light setup with one on

camera flash unit and taped a piece of purple geel

to get that purple light on the models face and a

cross lighting to get that light strips on his jacket.

was a fun shoot and thanks to Model

Oreit so, we made

this setup to show people the reality.

First we tried to find a really odd place to

shoot this scene. Then got a Model Witch does

not take this stuff it was just tobacco rolled like a J.

So To the Photographic Part...

We used a good 3- light setup.. Left, Right and Front Light

Left and Right used two strip lights - Front light big 1,5m Octabox

on a Black Backdrop in studio !! For the Window we went on

Location Scouting Again and found a old factory in Woodstock

which had oldish windows that we could use as a

Background to make it more scary...

I tried to Create that cold Fresh look ,

u just want to grab it and drink it feel the freshness in

your throat. Do you still remember that add from Coca cola ..

and After you done drinking it your hole Body goes …

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA … Fresh

Not My favorite Beer but enjoyed work with it

and it does taste lekker so

if you haven't tried it yet ,

off you go !!!!

Used a big pool that we build with some black plastic and

a 2-light setup with strip lights and a lot of reflecting paper

and water to get the splashes and reflections .

Windhoek Draught

Windhoek Draught - Yes I must

admit this is my Favourite Beer maybe because

I am used to drink this at Home in Namibia … I think

One of the best beers ever .. has to be they won the

German competition in the category REINHEITSGEBOT best

German Beer brewed outside of Germany.

Was a good shoot with the pool again and used a 2-light

setup and a big front reflector to get a good exposure one the label .

Street Racer

The best street racer Namibia has to offer..
Was a good and fast shoot - 3 light setup and no refectors or assitanse on location
only me and Marcel ( Model ) was fun and enjoyed working in a very clean workshop.Hope that Image will make Your Workshop look Pretty.
Used a 24-70mm/lens at f9 + Some light setup .

Namibian Police Officer

Hey Mr. Officer You look like a MOVIE STAR ...

The namibian police wanted me to shoot the new brochure of the 2010 National police escort. One of their Best OFFICERS,stood to my Command and was realy easy and Lekka to work with. The shoot went quite quick and I did not realy have any problems using my new light - kit outside ( ON LOCATION ) and overall, I was realy happy with the end result of my work ,as you guys can see,the top image looks NICE !
